Valon Mortgage is hiring a remote Senior Data Engineer to own and scale core data infrastructure for its mortgage servicing and lending platform. The role covers data warehouse architecture, custom ingestion pipelines, dbt-style transformation workflows, observability for data freshness and pipeline health, and cross-functional work with analytics, product, and platform teams. Required experience includes data engineering, SQL, Python scripting, cloud data warehouses, dbt or comparable tooling, data reliability practices, and stakeholder management in a fast-scaling technology environment.
