Flipster is hiring a full-time remote DevOps Engineer for South Korea. The role focuses on zero-downtime deployment, infrastructure automation, monitoring, incident response, and operating secure, scalable systems across on-premises and cloud environments. Responsibilities include optimizing database performance, improving infrastructure security and scalability, operating Prometheus/Thanos and EFK observability stacks, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams. Required experience includes 5-8 years managing cloud infrastructure and monitoring, Docker and Kubernetes production experience, AWS/GCP/Azure, microservices architecture, computer science fundamentals, infrastructure as code, configuration management, and business-level Korean. Preferred experience includes exchanges or fintech, Terraform, EKS/GKE, Helm, GitHub Actions, Harbor, Cloudflare, and business-level English.
